Latest Version of PDF Editing Tool Features Text and Image Editing Options
San Francisco, CA - January 9, 2007 - SmileOnMyMac will showcase PDFpen 3, the latest version of its popular and affordable PDF editing tool for the Mac, at Macworld Expo 2007.
With this major upgrade, users can modify original text using automatically-generated text blocks that can be corrected and edited. PDFpen 3 also features new image editing capabilities: users can now move, resize, copy and delete images from the original PDF.
"The ability to make changes to existing PDF text was the most requested new feature in user surveys," said SmileOnMyMac co-founder Philip Goward. "We're looking forward to showing off these new options at Macworld Expo."
PDFpen is a full-featured PDF editing program that allows users to insert text, images and signatures; fill out and save PDF forms; reorder and delete PDF pages; and merge or split PDF documents.
PDFpen costs $49.95. Also available is PDFpenPro, which has the additional feature of PDF form creation, costs $94.95. Upgrades from earlier versions of either application are $25.00, and free to users who purchased after July 1, 2006.
