SMILEONMYMAC FEATURES THE LATEST VERSION OF DISCLABEL AT MACWORLD
Award-Winning CD/DVD Labeling Software Offers New Design Tools and Simplified Label Design Process
San Francisco, CA - January 9, 2007 - SmileOnMyMac will feature DiscLabel 4, the latest version of its award-winning CD/DVD label design software, at Macworld Expo 2007. This major upgrade features new design tools, such as multiple layer support and gradients, as well as interface improvements that simplify the creation of new designs.
Among its design function enhancements, DiscLabel 4 features the option to add multiple layers, which can be hidden or reordered. The user can copy and paste all layers into a new design to create additional packaging elements like jewel cases. New tools for creating freehand scribbles and polygons have been added, as well as support for multicolor gradient fills for text and objects.
User feedback was an important factor in interface enhancements. "Based on surveys and customer emails, we've streamlined the design creation process." said Philip Goward, co-founder of SmileOnMyMac. "We've also made it easier to edit and customize iTunes track information."
The new version has already generated record sales for the company. "We are especially happy to see that a large number of DiscLabel 3 users are purchasing upgrades. That's an important indicator for us of overall user satisfaction with the program," Goward added.
DiscLabel 4 costs $32.95. For the first time, a DiscLabel Family Pack is available. The Family Pack license, which covers up to 5 computers in one household, is $49.95.
Upgrades from earlier versions of DiscLabel are $15.00, and free to users who purchased after August 1, 2006. Mac OS X 10.4 or later is required. A fully-functional demo version is available at http://www.smileonmymac.com/DiscLabel/download.html.
