IDG’s Macworld Announces Best of Show Awards
MACWORLD EXPO/NEW YORKJuly 22, 2003, IDG’s Macworld, the premier Macintosh magazine and Web sites, today announced the winners of the Macworld Best of Show Awards, representing the most exciting hardware and software products announced at Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo in New York. The awards were presented by Jim Dalrymple, editor of MacCentral.com, Macworld’s news service.
There was a wide variety of exciting new products exhibited at the inaugural Macworld CreativePro Expo, stated Dalrymple. It was great to see that a number of Macintosh developers both in the creative space and beyond recognized the value of announcing their products to the enthusiastic attendees of this new show.
To be eligible for Best of Show consideration, products were either making their public debut at the expo or were recently introduced and likely to generate excitement on the show floor. In addition, the editors must see the products in action, although some evaluations are based on beta versions or prototypes.
Macworld Best of Show Awards are regarded as a mark of distinction within the Macintosh industry and are presented exclusively at tradeshows featuring Mac products. Best of Show winners for Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo 2003 are:
